The story behind this meme
Basketball gave the internet a giant with an unforgettable laugh. A courtside photo of Yao Ming, the seven-foot-six star from China, caught him mid-guffaw, eyes closed, face fully surrendered to joy, and screenshot artists did the rest. The face was redrawn into simple cartoon form and joined the rage-comic cast as the universal sign of dismissive laughter. The template has two speeds: use the top box to present something that deserved to fail, and the bottom box is the laugh itself, generous, unstoppable, and completely uninterested in mercy.
Caption ideas

- Money: This month I will only buy needs / Laughter echoes through the wallet
Classroom-safe & how teachers use it
A sports photo of a man laughing, nothing unsafe and easy to contextualize. Teachers can use it for lessons on tone and audience reaction, or as a playful response chart during debates. Students can pair it with overconfident predictions from history and discuss why hindsight makes everyone laugh. It keeps discussions light.
