The story behind this meme
The image comes from the 1987 action movie Predator, where two muscle-bound heroes lock arms in a slow-motion handshake that bends the camera light around them. Internet culture adopted it as the ultimate symbol of unexpected teamwork. The formula needs three labels: one for each side and one for the shared value in the middle where the hands meet. The magic is contrast. The two labels should come from completely different worlds, and the center label explains the surprising thing they agree on perfectly.

Classroom-safe & how teachers use it
A famous movie still with nothing sensitive in it, so it fits any grade level. Teachers use it to teach compare and contrast: two groups, one surprising similarity. Students can label scientists from different countries who shared a discovery, characters who become allies, or historical rivals who signed a treaty. It also makes a friendly first-week activity where classmates find hidden common ground.
