The story behind this meme
Patience has a limit, and this skeleton found it. The picture shows a figure seated at a desk, slumped into pure bone, still waiting after what must have been centuries. It spread through forums in the late 2010s as the ultimate image of waiting too long — for a reply, a refund, an appointment, anything. Two boxes tell the whole story: what you are still waiting for, and the amount of time already gone. Deploy it whenever silence stretches past every reasonable limit and comedy is the only response left.

Classroom-safe & how teachers use it
A skeleton at a desk is spooky in a cartoon way, not a violent one, so it suits most classrooms. Teachers use it for lessons on patience, time management, and how long processes really take — like waiting for seeds to grow or paint to dry. Students can also write funny waiting scenes from a novel character's point of view.
