The story behind this meme
The closing line of a beloved 1985 time-travel adventure, delivered by an eccentric inventor pointing at a flying car, became one of cinema's most quoted promises. The template keeps the momentum and swaps the destination: the top box sets the bold, slightly reckless plan, and the bottom box is the confident dismissal of anything so old-fashioned as preparation. Use it for new semesters, new jobs, new projects, and any leap powered more by enthusiasm than by planning. The line works because confidence this complete is either heroic or a mistake, and the drive home is always fun.

Classroom-safe & how teachers use it
A family-friendly sci-fi still with zero unsafe content. Teachers can use it for lessons on future predictions, transportation history, and how fiction inspired real technology. Students can write their own where-we-are-going lines for inventions they imagine, then explain what the world would no longer need. Prediction lessons age wonderfully over the semester.
